NBS: Single-digit inflation in September

Inter-annual inflation returned to the single-digit zone in September and totaled 9.3 per cent, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released on Wednesday. According to NBS assessments, the inter-annual inflation will continue to drop in the next period and should arrive within the limits of target inflation in the first half of 2012. According to the NBS plans, the 2011 target inflation should total 4.5 plus or minus 1.5 per cent. According to the data the Serbian Statistical Office released on Wednesday, the growth of prices of consumer products in September totaled 0.2 per cent.
