The Serbian dinar strengthened by another 20 paras on Thursday, thus reaching its highest value since the beginning of 2011. The middle exchange rate this Thursday is RSD 104.0648 per euro, the National Bank of Serbia said. Currency strongest since start of year In 2011, the Serbian currency was the weakest on January 6, when the middle exchange rate was RSD 106.4947 per euro. The central bank did not intervene at the interbank foreign exchange market Thursday. Since the beginning of the year it bought EUR 5bn to alleviate excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate.

In 2011, the Serbian currency was the weakest on January 6, when the middle exchange rate was RSD 106.4947 per euro.

The central bank did not intervene at the interbank foreign exchange market Thursday.

Since the beginning of the year it bought EUR 5bn to alleviate excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate.
