The Serbian dinar (RSD) continued to gain against the euro today, with its value up 10 paras (1 RSD=100 paras). The mean exchange rate this Monday will thus be RSD 104.21 for one euro. Serbian currency gains ground On Friday, the central bank (NBS) sold EUR 20mn in the inter-bank hard currency market to counter excessive volatility in the daily exchange rate. After the latest intervention, the amount of money spent by the NBS in order to prop the home currency since the beginning of this year reached EUR 1.456bn.
