Serbia's trade deficit in the first four months of 2008 amounted to USD 4.1bn, the Statistical Office announced today. The figure represents an increase of 45.4 percent on the same period last year. Trade deficit at USD 4.1bn The sum is equal to EUR 2.7bn – 26.5 percent up on the first four months of 2007. In this period, Serbia exported goods worth USD 3.5bn, 39.6 percent more than last year, but imports amounted to USD 7.6bn, an increase of 42.6 percent.
