Aleksandar Vucic views an incident where an SRS MP defamed the late Zoran Djindjic as purely a mix-up of verbs. The direct insults and threats coming from Serb Radical Party (SRS) official Srboljub Zivanovic, that led to the early adjournment of yesterday’s session of parliament, were deemed by the party’s general secretary to merely have been a grammatical error. Defamation of Djindjic simply "grammatical error" Vucic did not wish to comment on the error or on whether the late prime minister was a “traitor” in the eyes of his party’s members, though, as he said, the Radicals would never resort to murdering their political opponents. In the governing coalition’s opinion, defamation of Djindjic constitutes hate speak and should be sanctioned. Aleksandar Vucic (Beta, archive)
