On September 6, Nedeljkovic was sentenced to eight months in prison for allegedly "causing ethnic hatred and intolerance", after which he spent two months in custody. At the beginning of December, the Court of Appeal in Pristina reduced Nedeljković's sentence.

Nikola Nedeljković recently arrived at the Mutivode crossing, where he was brought by prison security from Kosovska Mitrovica.

Nikola's family is expected at any moment and he wants to see them first, before he says anything to the media.

"I'm fine, I can't wait to hug my parents," Nikola told journalists of Kosovo online shortly after he crossed the Mutivode crossing. As the media reports, Nikola's parents have been waiting for him and they will head to Belgrade. Nikola Nedeljković (20) from Belgrade, who was arrested on Vidovdan in Gazimestan, after which he was sentenced to prison, was initially sentenced to eight months in prison for allegedly "causing ethnic hatred and intolerance". The Court of Appeal in Pristina then reduced his sentence to six months.

According to the words of his lawyer, Jovana Filipović, "he is banned from entering Kosovo for the next year".
