"We must establish such a way of working that our presence will be far greater and more frequent in every unit of local self-government, in every corner of Serbia. Sessions, meetings, and activities will be held in places where it is most expedient to solve the life problems of our citizens, and not only in Belgrade. The visibility of every proud ministry and the work of every proud minister must be available to the citizens," he said while presenting an exposition in parliament.

He pointed out that he believes in the people he will nominate as ministers and that they will have his support for the performance of state functions, but that he will also demand that they perform these tasks energetically, transparently and by being present at the source of the problem, in order to help the citizens as soon as possible where the needs dictate.

He stated that in addition to these acute problems, the government's program will also be presented by departments, i.e. fields, of social action and pointed out that in a rapidly changing world, education is the basis for personal and social development, and the harmonization of educational processes between all levels of education is a key step in improving the future of our society.

"The challenges and events that have marked the previous months impose the need to review existing systems and practices. It is necessary to start a dialogue so that education, instead of adapting to new needs and trends, is actually reaffirmed as the main support in the development of society. The harmonization of education, which will be a key priority of the government, is not only a technical requirement, but implies the integration of its various aspects, synergy with science and requires a wide range of changes that will cover all segments of the education system, from preschool to high school," he stated.

He said that modern education systems around the world are increasingly striving for the integration of education and science with the aim of creating a dynamic environment that is not limited to theoretical knowledge, but is actively engaged in the application and development of new technologies and research.

In order to achieve a more practical application of science and its synergy with education, he announced that he would initiate changes to the law on ministries, which would move higher education from the Ministry of Education and merge it with science.

Speaking about the recognition and support of talented students, he said that the professional guidelines for the recognition, support and monitoring of students with exceptional abilities, which is the basis for a systematic and comprehensive approach to the recognition and guidance of talented students, and the generation competitors platform, are the first steps towards that goal.

"In addition, we will launch the development of tests to identify students' aptitudes and abilities, which will ensure equal chances for every child in Serbia to be recognized and supported in the development of their talents. These tests will enable early detection of talent and ensure the provision of adequate support, and are especially valuable during the transition to the fifth grade or transition to high school," he said.

He emphasized that the goal is to prevent the dropout of talented students, especially during these changes, which is currently happening due to the lack of systematic monitoring.

"Using the aforementioned system, we will monitor the entire path of talented students from the recognition of abilities through individualized educational programs to the results of competitions and the first steps in professional life. With such comprehensive monitoring, which implies a harmonized approach to the care of talents at all levels of education, we will be equipped to introduce the necessary reforms and support that will be necessary for them to reach their potential," he said.
