Russian president to visit on October 19

The newspaper writes today that Putin's visit was agreed during Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić's recent trip to Moscow.

The main topic of discussions is expected to be the two countries' economic projects, especially the South Stream natural gas pipeline.

The newspaper is also reporting that Putin will hold a meeting with his Serbian counterpart while in Belgrade.

The Russian leader was in Serbia previously in March 2011, when he met with then President Boris Tadić, and visited the Serbian Orthodox temple in Belgrade dedicated to St. Sava, as well as the Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) football club's stadium.
