According to information b92.net reported, the break was used to make the Pristina side try to reduce the number of delegations present in the hall ahead of the second round of voting.

The head of the Serbian team and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic reacted strongly, referring to the rules and statutes of Interpol itself, that do not envisage breaks during a vote - but the chairperson of the Interpol General Assembly ignored these arguments.

In the first round 76 countries voted in favor, 56 were against, and 22 abstained, while 154 countries voted in total.

In the second round, 135 voted, 68 were in favor, 51 against, while 16 abstained. Pristina needed a two-thirds majority to become a member of Interpol and thus failed in its bid.

The Belgrade media have also published the list of countries that supported Serbia, i.e., voted not to admit Kosovo to Interpol.

Voting against were: the South African Republic, Angola, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chile, China, Cyprus, Congo, Cuba, Eritrea, Spain, Greece, Grenada, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Solomon Islands, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Uganda, Peru, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia.

According to unofficial information, Pristina was supported, among others, by Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Hungary abstained.

Ofanziva ruskih snaga na harkovskom pravcu pokazala se toliko brzom i snažnom da im oskudne odbrambene strukture Ukrajine nisu postale prepreka, a osiromašeni redovi ukrajinskih oružanih snaga nisu bili spremni da brane svoje položaje, piše Njujork tajms.
