Belgrade University on Taiwan List, "best in region"
The University of Belgrade made it to the Taiwan list of top world universities and claimed the 339th position in the competition of around 600 universities.

BELGRADE The University of Belgrade made it to the Taiwan list of top world universities and claimed the 339th position in the competition of around 600 universities. The school, founded in 1808, thus "left behind all universities in the region," Tanjug is reporting. Universities cannot apply for the list, while out of several thousand universities, and only 600 universities are ranked, said the report. Last year, the University of Belgrade did not make it to the list. This year it improved its ranking on the Shanghai List of 500 top universities as well, and claimed the leading position among the regional universities.
