Coordination in government is “excellent”

BELGRADE Serbian Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic told daily Blic that coordination within the government was excellent. He stressed that everybody was doing their job. Coordination in government is “excellent” When asked to comment on his cooperation with PM Ivica Dacic and First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic, the minister said he was very satisfied. “We work as a team. We literally fulfill everything we agree on. I am more than satisfied for now,” Dinkic said. He stressed that for the first time in many years partners trusted and fully supported his team, adding that this was the first government that had several powerful and confident leaders. “Nobody is jealous of anyone, everybody is doing their job. In the last government (then Serbian President Boris) Tadic was jealous of everyone who was remotely strong for reasons I do not know, regardless whether they were from his party or his partners,” Dinkic was quoted as saying. He said that in order for the government to be an efficient team, it needed a “good coach and motivated and top-quality players”. The minister denied he had any conflict with National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic. “That’s all gossip. We have an extremely good professional relationship,” he underscored.
