Hypersonic missiles are among the most powerful weapons in existence. They can hit targets at any distance on Earth within an hour and change trajectory in flight. Currently, the USA, Russia and China have such weapons, and Russia was the only one to use them in combat, and that was in Ukraine. Australia, India, France, Germany and Japan are developing hypersonic weapon technology, while Iran, Israel and South Korea have also previously reported that such weapons are under research and development.
