"Our policy towards migration, and also towards Bosnia-Herzegovina, is based on mutual cooperation between the states and the police forces. It is daily, continuous, intensive and achieves fundamental results - preventing illegal migration," Plenkovic said in the Croatian Assembly in response to an MP's question about a migrant center in Bosnia-Herzegovina that should be opened near the Croatian border.

According to Plenkovic, the East-Mediterranean and the so-called Balkan route is seeing more and more migrants heading toward Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatian agency Hina is reporting.
