Giorgos Kastriotis is Greek-Macedonian and yes his mother was Serbian!
One of the lesser known heroes of Greek history is George Kastriotis, known also as Skander beys. It is the national hero of Albanians at the same time is unknown or wrongly presented in Greece. as ethnic Albanian. Let's see who the final Skander beys. His real name is Georgios Kastriotis.
The last name and has true origin after his grandfather,
Konstantinos Kastriotis (1390), was ruler of the region of Kastoria and Imathia. His father was Ioannis Kastriotis, ruler of Kroias while his mother came from Serbia (Voisava).

Don't talk about something you know nothing about. The Communists that led Kosovo up to 1999 were predominantly Albanian, not Serbian in the republic level. Federally, Yugoslavia became more involved as the Albanians continue to push for equal status with the other republics in Yugoslavia. I understand, you have the right to suspect that "somehow Albanians suppressed". Please believe me there was no assimilation process. I have friends who are 25% Greek (only one of the grandparents being Greek) and they have Greek papers. Not a problem.
About economic problems? Albania is poor, what do you expect? Still the Greeks who had remittances from immigration or their relatives in Greece lived pretty well even during Hoxha regime. The others... like Albanians.
This was not the case with Arvanites and Orthodox Chams who had no right of language and education in Albanian. Today assimilated totally. While Muslim Chams were masacrated and forced to leave their homes and go in Albania. Practically what Milosevic almost achieved in Kosovo.
About Kosovo? Yes, you`re absolutely right. But please don`t overestimate Albanians. Few years ago some people killed our relatives, burned our homes and forced 1,5 millions to leave Kosovo. And those peoples are still honoured as Heroes in Northern Kosovo and other Serbian communes. Beograd is still using Kosovo Serbs as scapegoat to win elections in Serbia by forcing them to leave neither under Serbia laws nor under Kosovo laws.
Your principles are very honourable but knowing still there are too many Serbs and Albanians who want "total revenge" i think for now we should be glad if we manage not to kill each other.

Albanians did hold a memorial for Battle of Kosovo and their fallen princ Teodor Muzaka II, on June 15,2017.
We held a memorial, because it was nothing to celebrate as serbians do.
The next day after the Battle of Kosovo our peoples were under ottoman rule.
Serbs as usual as strange ceatures....

I have to disagree with that. Albanians may not have any problems with the Greek community, but successive Albanian governments since Hoxha have been trying to assimilate them in every possible way. Of course, it's a typical comment across the board that you made:
"Your minorities living in my country have it so much better than my minorities living in your country."
Serbs will always say that Albanians never had it better. Albanians say Greeks have all the rights they need. One rarely, if ever, stops to ask what the minority thinks because if there's any negative statement, it's obviously paid propaganda from the neighboring country. Of course, if minorities have it great, there wouldn't be any need to protest and demand more rights, eh? Yet even here, another problem missed is that if minorities complain, the usually first complain about lack of socio-econommic opportunities, not overt and rampant discrimination. It only turns into discrimination once socio-economic grievances are ignored and the only way for the governments in power to maintain the upper hand is to turn it into a socio-cultural. This is what happened in Kosovo in the 1980s and this is what's happening in Kosovo now in the 2010s.

I think no one answers this question in this forume if lets say Serbs and Albanians wanted to live in one country you can not speak without showing the place in the society they would be a 25 to 30% of population what type of writes will you give them - would you accept to have same constitution as Kosovo has writen by West?

Wanting the land but not the other people has been a symptom of Kosovo since the Berlin Congress. The best time Kosovo was managed was probably under the Byzantine Empire.

Very fair and balanced response, so what is the solution to this madness? In kosovo there seems to be about 130 to 150K Serbs majority living south of Ibar?
Also to most to others I am not being provocative but no one seems to answer solution as you alluded what do you mean less than independance? As this forum seems to be about past or vendettas I am curious to have this discussion politely in the end all we write here are opinions :)

Since you`ve been one of the most logic posters here... please don`t speak about things you don`t know. Greek minority in Albania has had their rights even before Albanian themselves. How could a weak state like Albania not respect the Greek minority rights when Greek state has always been much more powerful than Albania?
Greek miniority has had Greek schools even before there were Albanian schools. 99% of Greek minority today are in Greece (or America) because who would want to stay in a poor country when has the opportunity to go in an European country having Greek papers?
Albania has no problems with Greek community. The problems always have been "imported" by Athens who claims that Scanderbeg is a "Greek Hero". Scanderbeg was from f@cking Northern Albania. Scanderbeg`s mother was from what is today Northern Macedonia. According to Greeks every Orthodox Albanian is "Greek". It`s like claiming that every Muslim in Serbia is Albanian.
But you`re right, Pristina should let ZSO being implemented and Belgrade should let Mitrovica being a normal city. But we prefer more consuming our energies on hurting "the enemy" rather than helping ourselves. And of course in the end blaming always the others.

Funny you should ask that question because Kosovo's constitution was written by outsiders with the determined intention of empowering the Serb minority as much as possible. Were it up to Kosovo's own Albanian community, the Serb minority would have the same rights as the Greeks of Albania.
But aside from that, let's be honest: Serbs and Albanians have always wanted to control Kosovo without taking responsibility for the other community. Without being forced to commit to any agreement, Serbian leaders would have given their brother's right arm in order to "keep" Kosovo just for the sake of saying it's theirs. When asked to commit however, they suddenly get vague with "more than autonomy less than independence" references. Same goes for Albanians who make all sorts of promises that Serbs will be the most privileged minority in the world, and then do everything to block implementation of ZSO and blame Kosovo's perennial problems on Serbia and "parallel institutions".

- Albanian language official language of all Serbia
- Kosovo have own police and only albanian police officers as chief of police in majoraty areas
- Albania to be able to invest as they please in Kosovo
- Neutral Flag and national anthem representing all citizens.
( * I am sure 99% of Kosovo Albanians would not want under any circumstance to live in Serbia - However I would like to hear Serbian point of view if at all possible)?

In 1389 it was a battle of the religious war between the Early (Serbs) and the Apostolic (Rus) Christians. The war started in 1370 and it is marked on many Serbian, Bulgarian and Rus icons of the time and ended in 1415. Later the early Christians were called pagans ... But for 180 years since 1185 they had ruled the continent and belonged to the same Rjuricovici who had Romey rootes ... So Kosovo is not only a Serbian story but our joint tragedy where Great Khan Dmitry Ivanovic (Donskoy) was killed.
