BRUSSELS, BELGRADE Rasim Ljajic says that another round of the technical Kosovo talks on telecommunications ended on Friday without visible results or progress. Ljajic is Serbia's deputy prime minister and minister of trade and telecommunications. No agreement in new round of technical talks He told reporters in Belgrade that two issues remain open - an international calling code for Kosovo and the status of Telekom Srbija in the province. "We were absolutely prepared to reach an economically and technically viable solution, but the problem was that we were always faced with new proposals and details, even for the things which were already agreed," said Ljajic. "We are ready to continue the dialogue and put in even more of an effort into finally resolving the issue of telecommunications in the talks with Pristina," he said. Ljajic could not say when the next round of talks will take place, but said the Serbian side will deliver a final version of its proposed solutions to the talks facilitators and wait for the EU's call.
