The military has set up a special commission that should investigate the crash of a G-4 airplane yesterday. One of the best VS Air Force pilots, Istvan Kanas, was killed in the accident that happened at the Batajnica airport near Belgrade. Commission to investigate G-4 crash The Serbian Army (VS) sources say that the cause of the crash is still unknown, and predict it will be hard to determine. But the commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, Gen. Maj. Dragan Katanic told a news conference in Belgrade on Wednesday that the accident will be investigated by the commission, made up of pilots, engineers, technicians and medics. The Army also said that the plane was maintain properly, and confirmed that Kanas, who was practicing for an air show at the time of the crash, was a top flyer.
