Macedonia "treats arrested ex-KLA member as Serbian citizen"

Pristina-based Albanian language daily Koha Ditore is reporting that Dugoli said Macedonian authorities were "treating him as a Serbian citizen, although he has a Kosovo passport."

The Macedonian police arrested Dugoli on suspicion that he committed war crimes in the southern Serbian province while he was a member of the KLA.

The Basic Court in Skopje should on Monday decide whether to set him free or start procedures to extradite him to Serbia, Kosovapress is reporting.

Dugoli was arrested on Friday at the Blace border crossing, while on his way to Skopje where he was to obtain a visa from the U.S. embassy.
