Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) official Borko Ilic said that the government has betrayed Serbia by submitting the modified Kosovo resolution to the UN. "For the first time in its history, Serbia has willingly surrendered a part of its territory and the defeat we suffered in the UN by amending an already weak resolution marks the culmination of the government's poor policy on Kosovo," he told reporters at the DSS offices in Novi Sad. DSS: Govt. has betrayed Serbia According to him, with every action, the current government has inched closer to a definite recognition of Kosovo's independence and statehood. "The culmination of all this is accepting the resolution prompted by the scandalous decision of the International Court of Justice, as well as accepting that the talks (between Belgrade and Pristina) to not be held under the supervision of the UN, where we can count on the support of Russia and China, but under the guidance of the EU, which has practically recognized Kosovo," Ilic noted.
