Pieter Feith says EULEX officials will continue to work on raising citizens' awareness about the importance of the mission's presence. "As regards relations with the Serb community, EULEX will continue, in talks with political officials of the Kosovo Serbs and other communities, to work on raising citizens' awareness that we are in Kosovo to help build a society where all will feel safe, where the rights of communities will be respected and protected," the EU special envoy to Kosovo told the Euro. Parliament in Brussels. He also informed MEPs about the Kosovo government's efforts in the judiciary, which would guarantee a broad framework for the protection of minority communities, religious and cultural heritage, as well as decentralization. Feith also pointed to the possibilities following the successful July donors' conference. "Now, it is of vital importance that the Kosovo government wisely and transparently uses the promised financial assistance.
