The Kosovo Police Service (KPS) has arrested an Albanian teenage boy for kidnapping a young Serb girl, M.A., from Gornji Livoc in Gnjilane. The parents of the girl called the police, who immediately came to the scene and arrested the fifteen-year-old suspect, a next-door neighbor in a mixed Serb-Albanian village near Gnjilane. The little girl was taken to the regional hospital in Gnjilane suffering from stress, where her parents were told after an examination of the girl that there were no traces of violence or rape, say Serb media. The young girl was taken from her garden by G.K., who then locked himself in the house with her. When the girl’s younger sister called her parents, the girl’s mother rushed to her neighbor’s house and snatched her daughter from the hands of the assailant.
