EUFOR on trail of fugitives' financier

EUFOR is conducting an operation in the Banja Luka suburb of Petricevac, where it is searching the house of Goran Marinkovic in its hunt for the Hague fugitives. The action began early this morning on the orders of the Hague Tribunal. EUFOR announced that it was believed that Marinkovic was using his links to finance the fugitives. NATO troops in Bosnia-Hercegovina, as well as local police are also taking part in the search. The Hague Tribunal is still after Radovan Karadzic, Ratko Mladic, Stojan Zupljanin and Goran Hadzic. About ten days ago, international forces conducted a search of Zupljanin’s family’s home in Banja Luka, seizing a number of items.

“We’re looking for proof of communication between Marinković and the fugitives’ families and support networks,” reads the statement. NATO troops in Bosnia-Hercegovina, as well as local police are also taking part in the search.

The Hague Tribunal is still after Radovan Karadžić, Ratko Mladić, Stojan Župljanin and Goran Hadžić.

About ten days ago, international forces conducted a search of Župljanin’s family’s home in Banja Luka, seizing a number of items.
