Serbian President Boris Tadić has said that Serbia wants reconciliation with its neighbors and that it will do everything to put criminals behind bars.

Serbian President Boris Tadic has said that Serbia wants reconciliation with its neighbors and that it will do everything to put criminals behind bars. He pointed out, however, that he expected the same from other countries. Criminals belong in prison, president says At a Democratic Party (DS) Youth Congress Tadic repeated that Srebrenica massacre anniversary was on Monday and stressed that all other victims had the same respect and attention. Pointing out Serbia’s wish to reconcile with its neighbors, the president said that all those who had committed crimes needed to be in prison so nations and countries would not be blamed anymore and so citizens of former Yugoslav republics would be able to live together. According to him, this is the only way to create a normal political and cultural space in the territory of former Yugoslavia. We are going toward it because there is no better option,” he stressed. According to him, the EU is not only a political and peace project but also an economic and technological one, and one needs to respond to all those challenges.
