Serbian Army (VS) Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Miloje Miletic met with his Macedonian counterpart Lt. Gen. Miroslav Stojanovski in Skopje on Thursday. The two discussed further enhancement of the two countries' bilateral military relations. Serbian Army chief visits Skopje Miletic and Stojanovski exchanged views on the possibilities for further military cooperation, primarily in the domain of joint training at training polygons of the Macedonian and the Serbian Army, the army said in a statement. According to the Macedonian Defense Ministry, the discussion also referred to the participation of Macedonian soldiers in peacekeeping missions abroad. Miletic and Stojanovski stressed satisfaction with the two countries' cooperation in the field of defense and assessed that this is a strong impulse towards ensuring peace and stability in the Balkans and wider region, the statement said.
