Tirana calls on Valley Albanians to vote

Albania’s prime minister and foreign minister have advised Albanians from south Serbia to vote at the May 11 elections. The leader of the Party for Democratic Action (PDJ) Riza Halimi, who is a Serbian MP, confirmed that during a visit to Tirana, delegations from Serbia and Albania had concurred that participation was the only legitimate way for Albanians to solve their numerous, long-standing problems. The four-strong delegation of south Serbian Albanians led by Halimi returned today from Tirana where they were received by Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha.
