Russians give up Agrobanka

At the end of 2006, Bank of Moscow had told B92 that it would reconsider their position in regards to purchasing Agrobanka, “taking into consideration the economic changes of the project”.

At the time, high officials of the bank considered the possibility of inside trading, as the value of Agrobanka shares shot up after Bank of Moscow filed a purchase application.

The application was filed on June 9 2006, when a single stock value stood at 20,000 dinars. After the application was granted on November 24 of the same year, a single stock was valued at 34,998 dinars. Agrabobanka stocks now cost 49,975 per stock.
