The Labor and Social Policies Ministry’s working group has agreed on the measures for overcoming the problems of workers in Serbia. This proposal will be given as soon as possible to the Association of Serbian Employers and union representatives and if there are no serious objections, the package of measures will be given to the government for adoption as early as next week. Measures harmonized to tackle worker discontent The working group called on "social partners" to name their officials in this body, and it was agreed to start with visits to municipalities and companies in Serbia next week. The goal of these visits will be to familiarize the public with the measures for finding a solution in the companies that are having serious problems during the world economic crisis, according to the working group’s statement.
