U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Mary Warlick opened a pedestrian zone in the center of the southwestern city of Novi Pazar on Friday. The construction of the zone was supported by USAID, which provided around USD 100,000 for the project. Warlick described Novi Pazar as an important commercial and cultural center of southwestern Serbia, adding that it has development potential.
