The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has this year invested EUR 600,000 in a judicial reform project in Serbia.

The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has this year invested EUR 600,000 in a judicial reform project in Serbia. The project, dubbed “Promotion of justice accessibility in courts in the Republic of Serbia” has received these funds, Halvord Gjengsto, its coordinator, said on Monday. Norwegian donation to Serbia's courts The project is implemented by the International Management Group (IMG), in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, and includes 20 municipal courts in Serbia with around 200 individual segments, which required donors' assistance. According to the IMG coordinator's assessment, the municipal court in Uzice was the most efficient. Gjengsto also told reporters he believed that the projects will be completed in other courts in one month's time.
