The front pages of today’s dailies focus on the Kosovo talks in Brussels, and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) conference. BLIC – The paper writes about the family tragedies in the villages of Rajkovac, near Mladenovac and in Nakrivanj, near Vucja under the title, “Family tragedies continue – son murdered before mother’s eyes.” They also feature an interview with Health Minister Tomislav Milosaveljevic, under the heading, “Underperforming doctors to lose licences.” Press: DSS conference, Kosovo BORBA – “Kosovo will never be independent” says Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica at yesterday’s DSS party conference. Supreme Court President Vida Petrovic Skero feels that “Re-election beats election.” VECERNJE NOVOSTI – Under the headline, “Never without Kosovo” the prime minister conveys his message. Following a string of family tragedies, the daily says, “Fathers and sons killing each other.” “Application time” is a reminder that the deadline for submission of applications for the flats allocation competition is on Friday. GLAS JAVNOSTI – “Charges against Kandic” is about the case of Judge Gordana Bozilovic-Petrovic that was brought up at the Belgrade advocates assembly chambers. “New iron regiment won’t stand for injustice” reports on the continuing protest by ex-reservists from Kursumlija, Prokuplje and Blace. “Awesome Novak” is about Novak Djokovic’s latest triumph at the Austrian Open.
