Five young mathematicians from Serbia won medals at the International Math Olympics in Vietnam.

Radojević said that he secretly hoped to win a medal, adding that this is the greatest achievement in his young career.“A gold medal at the international Mathematic Olympics is the top award because all other competitions are preparations for the Olympic games and the selection of teams for the games,” Radojević said.
His family says that the gold medal came as no surprise. Father Veličko said that he is used to Mladen's success and his various awards and championships.
His best friend from childhood Aleksandra Nikolić believed he would win as well.
“Mladen is someone who has unbelievable potential and uses it in the right way. I told him when he was leaving that I knew he would win. I really believed in him, because after all of the medals he has one, that was the logical outcome,” Nikolić said.
