UEFA to probe racism allegations in England-Serbia U21 match

English under-21 defender Nedum Onuoha was reportedly targeted by fans during the first half on Sunday, while teammate Justin Hoyte was allegedly confronted by Serbia players in the tunnel after the game.

The Serbians had been angered when Matt Derbyshire scored England's second goal after being played onside by a defender who was down injured.

The victory secured England a place in the semifinals.

Gaillard said UEFA will also investigate possible misconduct by Serbian fans, separate from the racism allegations.

The behavior of England's players after the game will also be investigated.
