Montenegro police keep eye on Buha

Buha left Croatian town of Sinje where someone allegedly made an attempt on his life early Saturday, by firing gun shots at a trailer Buha used to transport his horses.

The murder attempt has supposedly been staged by Croatia’s criminals by order of the Serbia’s criminal underground.

Buha’s stay in Podgorica is temporary until police secured his safe transfer into some other country where his safety would be guaranteed.

According to Montenegro’s newspapers, Buha reached Podgorica with the aid of his friends, and Montenegrin police immediately placed him under protection, obtaining consent of its Serbian colleagues beforehand.

Buha, former leader of the Surčin organized crime gang, consented to become the first ever collaborating witness in the history of Serbian judiciary, after his former associates Milorad Ulemek and Dušan Spasojevič made two attempts on his life.

Milorad Ulemek is the first accused in late prime minister Zoran Đinđić’s assassination trial that will see an epilogue on May 23, when the Trial Chamber is expected to pass a verdict.

Buha recently took up horse racing, as he bought and trained two horses with which he has been entering all horse races in the region.
