Former intelligence chief to testify
Đinđić family lawyer Srđa Popović had earlier submitted a list of new witnesses he deemed necessary to establish the political background of the late prime minister’s murder.The list includes the names of prime minister Vojislav Koštunica, interior minister Dragan Jočić, state television (RTS) director Aleksandar Tijanić, former MUP inspector-general Vladimir Božović, former state intelligence (DB) chief Rade Bulatović, and former prime minister of the Republic of Srpska Krajina Borislav Mikelić.
Presiding judge Nata Mesarović said Tomić was expected to testify Tuesday, but gave no details on the testimonies of the other potential witnesses Popović mentioned.
