Two Albanians were arrested on Friday after in a shootout near the St. Naum border crossing on Lake Ohrid in Macedonia. MIA news agency initially reported, quoting police sources, that a group of Albanian hunters most likely illegally entered Macedonia, and that two of them were wounded in the shooting. Incident on Albania-Macedonia border AP reported, also citing police sources, that a Macedonian border patrol and Albanian hunters were involved in the shooting. Police in Skopje confirmed the incident and said that two Albanian nationals carrying hunting rifles were detained, while others from the group ran across the border back to Albania.
