A student in a high school in southern Albania first killed his classmate, and then committed suicide, reports said. 20-year-old high school student Gert Baja was shot and killed by Endrit Lambaj, it was announced. Murder-suicide in Albanian school Lambaj first stormed into the classroom and ordered everyone but Baja to leave, eyewitnesses said. “Three shots were fired and Baja was dead in his bench,” said local police in the town of Elbasan. The shooter then fled the scene, and shortly after committed suicide. Police said that Lambaj, who lived in a nearby town, killed his victim “motivated by jealousy”.

Lambaj first stormed into the classroom and ordered everyone but Baja to leave, eyewitnesses said.

“Three shots were fired and Baja was dead in his bench,” said local police in the town of Elbasan.

The shooter then fled the scene, and shortly after committed suicide.

Police said that Lambaj, who lived in a nearby town, killed his victim “motivated by jealousy”.
