Montenegro will not establish any special relations with Republic of Srpska (RS), Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic told Radio Montenegro. “As far as suggestion about special relations between Montenegro and RS is concerned, I would not transplant the situation of relations between Serbia and RS. Meaning, we don't have 'Republic of Crnogorska' (Montenegrin Republic) in Bosnia-Herzegovina to be signing any kind of agreements between Montenegro and this supposed Republic of Crnogorska,“ he was quoted as saying. Montenegro: No special relations with RS He pointed out that “it made it all the more easy to say that Montenegro wanted very special and very quality relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina, its entities and all countries in the area.“ Sarajevo daily Dnevni Avaz stated that it had been unofficially confirmed that RS requests for establishment of special ties had been sent to Podgorica before, despite the fact that there had never been any interest or will of Montenegrin authorities to make such an arrangement with the entity. Although RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik still has not sent an official request, Podgorica considers the announcement of such act, and even the request itself, should it ever arrive to the Montenegrin capital, an election trick whose goal is to raise media dust, said the report.
