Vucic expects help from EU, US, Russia on Kosovo army issue
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic says he expects the EU, the US, but also Russia to help when it comes to <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2017&mm=03&dd=08&nav_id=100710" class="text-link" target= "_blank">announcements</a> of the formation of an army in Kosovo.

"It's our job to talk and try to preserve peace. Did we agree on the key issue? No. Above all, on the creation of a Kosovo army. There I expect help from the EU, the US, and Russia," said Vucic, who is this Wednesday on Mt. Kopaonik for the Kopaonik Business Forum.The prime minister said that such a move - which Belgrade opposes - would represent a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244, and even contravenes with the Kosovo Constitution - "although we don't even care about that."
"I don't know if they're planning to hold an election in May, but these are big things to be playing with," said Vucic.
The prime minister, who is a candidate in the upcoming Serbian presidential elections, also stated it was "not his job to fight to get more votes" but that he would instead "preserve peace and stability even at the price of receiving fewer votes."
