Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and his wife on Wednesday hosted a dinner for Britain's Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Proposing a toast, Vucic said that he is confident that Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will experience the traditional Serbian hospitality and visit the country more frequently in the future.Vucic also spoke about the long-standing UK-Serbian ties, established in 1837, when the first British consulate was opened in Belgrade.
He also reminded of the alliance during WWII, proposing the toast to the prosperity and well-being of the friendly British nation, as well as to a common well-being of the two nations.
Vucic presented to the Prince of Wales an icon of the White Angel - a replica of the famous fresco in the Serbian Mileseva monastery.
