The two officials also talked about cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.

“We are the two biggest nations in the Balkans and we need to improve our relations,” Vucic said.

One of the topics discussed was cooperation in the field of tourism, and making investments in both countries.

They stressed the importance of Air Serbia introducing direct flights between Belgrade and Tirana as something that would greatly help strengthen economic ties, the Serbian government’s media relations office said.

Meta spoke about the importance of cooperation between the two parliaments and said that an Albanian parliamentary delegation would visit Belgrade very soon.

"The most important challenge for our two countries is the economy. We need to find a way to improve our economic relations and the overall economic situation in both countries," said Meta.
