Former minister and party leader to join foreign company

"It's true, I'm going to the private sector," Dinkić confirmed, but did not say which company was in question.

Dinkić stepped down as leader of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) after it failed to win any seats in Serbia's new parliament during the March elections.

The party also failed to cross the threshold in elections for the Belgrade city assembly.

From 2000 until 2003 Dinkić served as governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), and then as minister and deputy prime minister in several governments. He was also at the helm of G17 Plus, which merged into the URS.
