Northern Kosovo Serbian National Council (SNV) leaders have criticized Serbian President Boris Tadic’s attitude toward NATO violence against Serbs in Kosovo. They said that he was “executing West’s orders” in order to implement Pristina institutions’ authority in the northern part of the province. K. Serb leaders accuse Tadic of “obeying West's orders” “That’s the key condition so the EU and the U.S. would give their wholehearted support to the current government in Belgrade in the election fight for another mandate that it is far more important to Boris Tadic than keeping Kosovo and Metohija within Serbia,” the SNV assessed. The SNV added in the announcement that Serbia, aside from the raging economic crisis, increasing number of unemployed, hungry and homeless, was also facing “separatists’ intentions to territorially reduce it to the area from Belgrade to Stepojevac”. “It is most visible in Tadic’s message to the Serb leaders in northern Kosovo, from whom he arrogantly and without any reason asks to ‘make decisions that exclusively have to do with citizens’ vital interests and contribute to preservation of the people in Kosovo and not to interests of their party chiefs who are using even this issue for the purpose of some future elections’,” the SNV stressed. The Northern Kosovo Serb leaders criticized Belgrade team chief Borislav Stefanovic as well, who said that the latest conclusions made by councilors of the four northern Kosovo Serb municipalities were “unachievable and politically motivated”. The SNV underscored that the councilors were not only members of the opposition, but also members of the ruling parties. Boris Tadic (Beta, file)
