Serbian President Boris Tadic is still in New York, where he is scheduled to meet with EU's foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton today. The topic of their conversation will be dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, said reports, while EU officials said ahead of the meeting dialogue was key for further Serbian integrations. President set to meet with top EU official Ashton was quoted as saying that this dialogue should begin as soon as possible, while its subject should be better life for people in Kosovo and that it should be conducted withing the EU perspective of the whole region. Tadic spoke at a gathering on investments in New York yesterday and said EU integrations were the main priority. In Belgrade EU delegation chief Vincent Deger said there was will of Belgrade and Pristina to start dialogue and said this was positive, and that the UN General Assembly resolution created a new momentum for the talks. German Ambassador in Serbia Wolfram Maas said that clearly conditions have been created for the two sides to sit at the negotiating table and that the talks should be conducted without much interference from the outside to solve practical issues. Spanish Ambassador in Belgrade Inigo Palacio de Espana said his country was strongly suppoting talks between Belgrade and Pristina that would lead to an agreement acceptable to both sides.
