Pristina has called on Athens to recognize Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence in light of the ICJ opinion on the proclamation's legality. “The time has come for Greece to recognize the Republic of Kosovo,” Kosovo Albanian President Fatmir Sejdiu said. Call for Greece to recognize Kosovo “Greece’s recognition of Kosovo will be very important for peace and stability in the region,” Sejdiu said. “I believe that after the ICJ’s decision, there will be no dilemmas in any countries regarding the independence of our country,” he added.
