BELGRADE Serbia’s public power corporation (EPS) plans to invest EUR 3.2bn in building new and reconstructing its existing capacities. The plan sets put the company’s goals through 2010, EPS directorate assistant director Slobodan Mitrovic said. EPS looks to invest in development EPS plans to implement the construction of new production facilities with future strategic partners, Mitrovic added, without specifying the date for the announcement of a tender to select them. Mitrovic emphasized the investment would only be possible if the price of power exceeded seven eurocents per kilowatt hour by 2012.
