BELGRADE A teenage girl was killed before midnight in Belgrade last night when a car struck her on a pedestrian crossing. The victim has been identified as 17-year-old A. B. The girl died immediately, while according to the eyewitnesses, the driver fled the scene in Ustanicka St. after the accident. He turned himself in to the police several hours later, accompanied by his father and lawyers, and has been placed in police detention.
