Serbian Justice Ministry State Secretary Slobodan Homen says that it is very important for the new government to continue combat against organized crime. “Only a long-term and decisive fight can reduce organized crime to a lower intensity so it would not be one of the country’s priorities in the future,” he explained. The state secretary added that the ministry had proposed almost 100 bills in the previous four years which had been adopted by parliament, stressing that they had made the procedure more efficient.
