Prosecution promises action over folk singer

Republic Public Prosecution Spokesman Tomo Zoric has stated that decision on Svetlana Raznatovic’s case will be made as soon as possible. She is suspected of illegally appropriating money from transfers of Belgrade's FK Obilic football players. Prosecution promises action over folk singer Zoric said that “more has been done in the past seven months in this case than in the past seven years”. He pointed out that the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade had, after a detailed analysis of the gathered evidence, filed a request to expand investigation against Dragisa Binic and Jovan Dimitrijevic who are suspected of abuse of office. According to the Republic Public Prosecution spokesman, this was necessary in order to complete the investigation. “The Republic Public Prosecution is satisfied with the results achieved by the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade,” Zoric said and added that the public would be informed about any new developments in this case in a timely manner.
