Drug dealer sent to jail for 9 years

Darko Elez has been sentenced to nine years in prison for drug trafficking and extortion and other crimes, by the Special Court in Belgrade. Beside Elez, five members of his criminal group also received sentences ranging from one to six years in prison. Drug dealer sent to jail for 9 years Vladimir Pandurevic was sentenced to six years, Vasa Ljubibratic to five years and one month, Aleksandar Lucic to four, Branko Djuric to a year and a half and Slobodan Pjevac to a year in prison. The verdicts were delivered by Special Department of the Higher Court in Belgrade Judge Dusan Vojnovic. Elez was accused of organizing his criminal group, whose members were the five men sentenced today and several persons who are being tried in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in the Bosnian territory in 2009. According to the indictment, the group committed serious criminal acts – drug trafficking and selling and extortion over a long period of time. Vladimir Pandurević was sentenced to six years, Vasa Ljubibratić to five years and one month, Aleksandar Lučić to four, Branko Đurić to a year and a half and Slobodan Pjevac to a year in prison.The verdicts were delivered by Special Department of the Higher Court in Belgrade Judge Dušan Vojnović.
