Kosovo police arrested five Wahhabi extremist supporters near Prizren suspected of illegal weapons possession, according to police spokesperson Arber Beka. Beka said that more than 100 police officers participated in the action that was implemented at eight different locations in the region of Prizren. Suspected Wahhabis arrested in Kosovo Two Kosovo Albanians and three Bosniaks were arrested and weapons were seized. “The police confiscated an automatic, semi-automatic rifle, more than 200 bullets, two revolvers, air gun, five binoculars, uniforms, and five laptops,” Beka said. He added that an investigation is ongoing in the case.
