The Novi Sad District Court today announced that Stevan Stankovic, 20, was sentenced to 15 years in jail for the murder of Dejan Dimitrijevic. Stankovic and Dmitirijevic belonged to Vojvodina and Partizan football clubs' supporter groups. Ruling in inter-hooligan violence case On April 28, they participated in an arranged fight near the train station in the Vojvodina town of Futog. Dmitrijevic was shot and killed, while S.B., a minor, was wounded. Four other hooligans were handed down a total of nine and a half years for their participation in the deadly incident and for illegal possession of firearms. A total of 16 others were ordered to pay fines, while one person was acquitted.
